continued his 2007 campaign of the Concord Motorsport Park track championship
by posting another top-ten to start off the month of June.
After Mother Nature postponed the first event in June, Sharpe and his Travis
Sharpe Motorsports team took the checkered flag in seventh position for the
second time this season and posted his fifth top-ten of the 2007 season which
moves Sharpe into eighth position in the championship point standings.
“It was another solid top-ten for us, but we are
looking to crack the top-five really soon. We haven’t had
the start that we had planned but that hasn’t stopped us from coming out here
every week and giving everything we’ve got. I know our
luck is bound to change sooner or later. Everyone on this
team is working really hard so I know it will pay off,” said the 2005 Concord
Motorsport Park track champion.
Travis Sharpe Motorsports is still actively
seeking sponsors for the remainder of the 2007 season and beyond.
